Hello my name is Dmitri Olympiev and I am from Pembroke Pines, FL. You can reach us on the web at www.pinesicearena.com. The next exercise, I’m going to put my feet together, arms straight out and back straight. Now I’m going to spread my toes, keeping the ankles together. I’m going to seat on my knees, lean a little bit forward and I’m going to paint a circle with my feet. This exercise is called “Forward Swizzles” I’m going to bend my knees, keep my back straight, lean forward – One, Two. Take a look at this. Keep my back straight, arms out, bend my knees – One, Two, Three. Keep in mind, I’ve got to get to my circle real quick, so I have to move my feet real quick. One of the things to practice is this – One, two. One, two. On a movement of the ankle, keep it quick. One, two. We’ll be right back.
This is absolutley ridiculous that this coach who does not even represent the United States should put videos of himself attempting to teach figure skating. Firstly he needs to learn how to speak the language, and second, does the rink know about this, because soliciting himself like this is unethical and disrespectful to the other coaches at that rink, who are probably far more qualified than him. If you want to take skating lessons you should go to the ice rink and take from a PSA (Professional Skaters Association) rated coach. These coaches are ranked in the country by top United States coaches such as Frank Carrol. Any Russian coach who has to sink to this level of online video, but cannot bother to get himself rated to coach should be sent back to work in the circus over there.
I am a tennis pro and cannot believe what I am reading. Any Russian coach that comes into the US and then abuses young athletes should be banned from the sport.
Personally, I've learned a great deal from these segments and am glad they were available. They have enhanced me knowledge of how to execute these moves.
this guy is a joke and can't teach skating for his life.
I just wanted to say a few things about the negative comments to your videos. I've posted this same comment under all of your videos since the haters have done the same thing, too. The negative comments seem to be coming from a small group of people--in fact, I say it's coming from just one person posting under different screen names. I would probably pay attention to the criticism if it were actually objective, coherent or constructive--but it's none of these things. Its only purpose is to slander you. Whoever is trying to paint you as a bad guy has done quite the opposite. He/she is full of vindictiveness and pettiness and clearly has a personal grudge against you. Whatever you've done to warrant this kind of treatment, whether you deserve it or not, is completely irrelevant and is none of my business. All that really matters is if your videos are useful and helpful or not. In my humble opinion, your videos have been a great help to me and I applaud you for that.

Why you are saying that this guy is no good?! First of all, before judging his English, you should have at least some intelligence and don't say: "this guy", because "this guy" has a name, and his name is Mr. Olympiev. Secondly, you can't judge this coach just by looking at these video clips. All these video clips helped my cousin, and helped a lot, even her coach were so surprised. I want to thank you Mr. Olympiev for sharing these lessons with other people, and your English is excellent, you explaining very clear and very professional. Thank you so much!
I want to do swizzles with this buff daddy while waiting in line for bread and vodka.
